Off The Coast Of Me is a studio album released in 1980. It is the début studio release of the August Darnell fronted group. The album was reissued in 2003 with additional bonus tracks by Universal Island Records.

Fresh Fruit in Foreign Places is a concept album in the form of a musical travelogue. It was very well received critically upon its release. New York Times pop music critic Robert Palmer called it “an extraordinary album” and “the freshest and most intelligent fusion of pop styles and dance rhythms in a long time”. It also was voted one of the best pop albums of the year in the Village Voice’s influential Pazz & Jop critics’ poll.

Tropical Gangsters
Tropical Gangsters is the third album in Kid Creole and the Coconuts’ discography, released on May 10, 1982. Originally conceived as a solo album by band leader August Darnell and titled Wise Guy. Tropical Gangsters made Darnell a worldwide star, and the album remains both his and the ZE label’s most successful record by far.
