Suoni di Marca is now in its thirty-second edition, which will be held on the Walls of Treviso from 16 to 30 July 2022!

Suoni di Marca is free admission:
for all 15 days of the festival there will be concerts with national and international artists, Percorso del Gusto and Mostra-Mercato open to all,
with € 1 responsible contribution at the entrance to support the event.

There are no tickets to buy for the concerts.

Ab0ut Kid Creole and the Coconuts
42 years of career between world tours, awards and over fifty record releases including albums, singles and compilations including the latest Nothin’ Left but the Rest released in 2021.

The project led by Kid Creole, pseudonym of August Darnell, was born with the intention of combining elements of jazz big bands, strong influence of artists such as Duke Ellington, Cab Calloway and Louis Prima, disco funk and Afro-Cuban music, including calypso, salsa and soca, with the main intent of making the listener dance, bringing him into a magical dimension.

The band has maintained an enviable longevity over the years thanks to the interest shown by several musicians of the following generations, from the indie rock school of the early two thousand years in which the “danceable” component is fundamental, think of LCD Soundsystem up to rappers and producers such as Ghostface Killah, M.I.A, CeeLo Green and The Avalanches who have sampled Kid Creole & The Coconuts music from the nineties to today.

Kid Creole and his Coconuts will be performing with Frankie & Canthina Band from Italy.
